Building the Future,
One Fibre at a Time
SupaCell was born from Australian ingenuity, resilience, and collaboration. It began with a simple idea — that everyday waste could become high-performance insulation and help build a cleaner, smarter, more sustainable future.
From Waste to Worth
The SupaCell story began when 4 Seasons Industries and iQRenew joined forces to tackle one of Australia’s toughest challenges — what to do with the paper, cardboard, and soft plastics collected from household yellow bins.
Instead of viewing these materials as waste, they saw opportunity. By combining 4 Seasons’ three decades of insulation expertise with iQRenew’s recycling innovation, they created a circular model that turns low-value waste into high-value building materials.
NON-TOXIC
Innovation Meets Responsibility
Every SupaCell batt represents circularity in motion. Through advanced nonwoven textile technology, recycled paper and soft plastics are transformed into thermal and acoustic insulation that rivals traditional glasswool while reducing waste and emissions.
SupaCell’s fire-safe, non-toxic design ensures cleaner air, safer handling, and reliable performance — meeting key Australian standards for thermal and fire performance while setting a new benchmark for sustainability in construction.
Circular Manufacturing in Action
The SupaCell process begins with household recycling. Materials collected by partners like IQ Renew and Curby are refined into clean fibre feedstock, then transformed by 4 Seasons Industries into insulation batts at its NSW facility.
Soft plastics act as a natural binder, paper and cardboard provide structure, and every finished product demonstrates how Australian waste can power Australian manufacturing. This is the circular economy made tangible.
Performance with Purpose
SupaCell delivers proven results where it matters most:
Thermal Efficiency
Consistent R-values for year-round comfort and energy savings.
Acoustic Control
Dense fibres absorb sound for quieter, more comfortable spaces.
Fire Safety
Acts as a protective blanket, resisting ignition and limiting flame spread.
Each batt tells a story — look closely and you may see traces of print or the yellow of a Curby bag, visible proof that waste has been given new life.
Australian Manufacturing, Redefined
SupaCell proves that sustainable, high-performance manufacturing can thrive locally. By using recycled feedstock and lower-temperature production, it cuts emissions, supports regional jobs, and strengthens Australia’s manufacturing resilience.
This collaboration between 4 Seasons and iQRenew didn’t just create a new product — it built a new value chain linking recycling, manufacturing, and construction into one continuous, circular loop.
The Future of Circular Innovation
SupaCell’s mission remains clear: to build the future, one fibre at a time. Each installation represents progress — waste diverted, energy saved, and a circular economy brought to life through Australian innovation.
